We don't call it "Ceremonial Grade". This designation does not officially exist in Japan; it is a marketing term invented in Europe. What we can say instead is: Goku Matcha comes from a second-generation family farm in Uji and is made exclusively from the first harvest of the year. The later the harvest, the more bitter the matcha, which is why the farm deliberately foregoes any further harvests.
A few years ago, the farm decided to switch completely to organic farming. This meant three years without a single harvest. No yield, no safety net – just the conviction that it was worth it. This very attitude is why we carry this matcha.
The result: a matcha that convinced us immediately with the first sip and that we haven't been able to forget since.

How fast is shipping?
Your order will be dispatched from our warehouse in Oberkirch within the second working day after placing the order. If you select the priority shipping option, you will receive your package within 1-2 working days, while with the economy option you can expect a delivery time of 2-4 working days.
How much does the shipping cost?
For orders over CHF 100, shipping is free.
Economy (2-3 working days) = 4.90
Priority (1-2 working days) = CHF 9.90
Which countries does akemis ship to?
We currently only ship within Switzerland.
